Bechtel’s is looking for a skilled Recruiter to join Bechtel’s Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization as the IT Staffing Lead. The position is in Reston, Virginia.

In this role, you will develop and manage strategic recruiting programs and support key talent acquisition initiatives including diversity outreach, social media, college recruiting, contingent hires, etc. You will also perform full lifecycle recruiting, as well work closely to support hiring managers, candidates and team members.

As the IT Staffing Lead, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

- Full lifecycle recruitment of IT candidates including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, salary analysis, and extension of offers
- Facilitate and lead key talent acquisition initiatives
- Sourcing of passive candidates using various recruitment tools/techniques
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with department leaders, hiring managers, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership
- Create and foster relationships with diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit diversity candidates
- Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
- Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting, familiarity with high volume and fast paced environments
- 4+ years of experience in passive sourcing techniques and assessing talent
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management, or related field

Additional Qualifications:

- Prior experience recruiting for the information technology industry preferred
- Current SPHR or PHR Certification, or AIRS (Advanced Internet Recruitment Strategies), and/or recruiting certification
- Hold expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, wage and salary trends, etc.
- Knowledge and extensive use of applicant tracking systems
- Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
- Ability to present new recruiting concepts to executive leadership and technical communities.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions on a national, multi-location level.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
- Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
