Senior StartUp Automation Analyst

Position Summary: Corporate Startup Automation Support associated with the development, testing, deployment, maintenance and support of construction and startup sponsored software applications.

Candidate must possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of the following automation suites:

- Teamwork’s Completions Module
- Setroute
- Equipment Maintenance System (EQMS)
- Databroker & Periscope

Experience with other Completions Management Software is a plus.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Configure and deploy the Completions Management Software on a project
- Perform configuration changes to electronic forms and workflows
- Write SQL for data reporting through SSRS, Power BI and other methods
- Translate complex business requirements into streamlined interactive dashboards
- Write SQL to enable data integration and automation
- Travel to jobsite to support user training and issue resolution
- Coordinate with design engineering, procurement, project controls and other departments to establish reporting needs between applications.
- Review/trouble-shoot data for accuracy and completeness. Identify and address anomalies with information owners
- Perform other tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

- Must have a degree in an related engineering or science field
- Must have 8+ years experience in Automation related field
- Must have knowledge and understanding of Bechtel’s SWPPs, STCPs and CPs
- Strong Microsoft Access/ Excel experience
- Strong SQL skills in MS SQL Server and Oracle
- Basic knowledge of hardware and operating systems, including system architecture, network infrastructures and client-server principles
- A recognized degree preferred in job related engineering or scientific discipline or specialized courses in construction management
- Technical knowledge and work experience in an automation role in the field
- Must have a good working knowledge of Construction Industry and Processes
- Ability to work independently, with strong communication and writing skills
- Critical thinking: ability to track down complex data and engineering issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to solve problems
- Creativity: you can conceive of new data driven products, features, and technologies

Additional Information:

This position will be based out of the Houston office but will require travel domestically and internationally 15-30% of the time. All applicants must be willing to travel domestically and internationally on short notice. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
