Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant (WTP):
Located 800 km northeast of Lima, Peru, Yanacocha is South America’s largest gold mine. The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (the West one with capacity of 3,000 m3/hour and the East one with 2,700 m3/hour). Early works are currently being performed on site, preparing the permanent platforms and laydown areas for the East and West plants, in addition to the Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule and Execution Plan.
Job Summary:
In this position, you will be responsible for supervise the process of completion and delivery of Pre-Commissioning to the client, coordinating continuously with the team of TOP coordinators, ensuring the progress of documentation and completion of each stage of the process during commissioning until obtaining the mechanical completion certificate, he will also participate in the implementation and preparation of management reports. This position is especially aimed at a person with proven experience in the process of delivering packages to the customer.
Major Responsibilities:
- Preparing and supervising the preparation of the digital delivery packages, including the verification and compilation of documents ensuring compliance with the standards established in the project ensuring the delivery of these within the established dates.
- Coordinating and participating in the completion and delivery walks (Blue Tag) carried out with the client, as well as carry out the corresponding monitoring of the loading of the points in the system (Smart Completion) as at the closing of these.
- Preparing and implementing periodic reports required by the supervision and / or management of the project for the control and monitoring of documentation.
- Keeping updated the databases that will feed the monitoring and verification reports of the progress of the delivery process.
- Being responsible for the training and supervision of the team members, in the systems that will be managed for the monitoring and control of the documentation corresponding to the delivery package.
- Assisting in the preparation of test matrices, as well as being responsible for loading these into the system (Smart Completion) for the different disciplines of Pre-Commissioning.
- Preparing updates of the battery limits and documentation corresponding to the area.
- Reviewing and monitoring of the CRP folders, as well as maintaining control of the closure of the observations that may be made to the folder.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a degree in Industrial Engineering, with 7 years of professional experience and at least 3 years of experience in project handover delivery management.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of project completion software: Smart Completion, Teamworks, Setroute and Aconex.
- Mandatory computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.)
- Experience in management and monitoring of technical documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong leadership skills, communication skills, enthusiasm and diplomacy.
- Intermediate English level.
