Project Overview:

TROJENA (The Mountains of NEOM) will be an iconic, world-class destination, blending natural and developed landscapes and will offer unique experiences for residents and visitors alike. Located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia in the region of Tabuk just 50km from the coast, TROJENA will be a destination like no other on earth. Based upon the principles of eco-tourism facilities will include a folded vertical village, a lake with water sports and event facilities, high altitude ski village, observatory, world leading health and wellbeing facilities and a nature reserve which will be home to unique wildlife, heritage sites and exploration opportunities.  With over 3,600 hotel, 2,200 homes, 9 iconic buildings and 100 world class indoor and outdoor experiences Trojena will become the ultimate mountain destination. Job Summary:

The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for the oversight of contractors’ works and work completion of major primary steel and concrete building structures, including the Discover Tower. The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all appointed Contractor’s job site activities and ensure that the construction operations and contractor’s performance are in compliance with project ES&H, quality, schedule requirements, whilst maintaining effective relationships when interfacing with stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for construction oversight and compliance of contractors, ensuring works are carried out as per the drawings, specifications and standards, as per schedule and ensures compliance to ES&H plans, quality standards and local/national regulatory safety codes
• Ensures the Zero Accident Philosophy is incorporated into every aspect of construction operations. Actively participates in scheduled safety and review meetings
• Provides leadership in promoting a safe work environment
• Oversee performance of the installation contractors, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems
• Lead and coordinate with contractors, engineers, client, and other stakeholders involved in foundation works and superstructure installation
• Leads input to ensure continuous construction work fronts availability through review of look ahead schedules, commodity charts, manning charts, engineering deliverables, material delivery schedules and any other service requirements including contractor submittals
• Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the specific work at site. Verifies compliance with Permit and License requirements and stipulations
• Responsible for a team of Construction Engineers who will be reviewing and approving the contractor's submittals, technical queries, Field change documents and other technical documents including Drawings and As-Builts
• Ensure all materials and equipment on the site fully comply with international standard and technical specification requirements
• Ensure the closure of project is systematic and complete in all respects

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering is preferred
• Minimum 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record
• Experience in similar role, with a contractor or PMC company with construction responsibility

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise in constructing building cores using system formwork, such as jump forms.
• Successful experience in preassembling, erecting, and completing structural steelwork.
• Proven ability to manage building envelope construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of international standards and specifications, including ACI, ASTM, NFPA, Saudi Building Code, and International Building Code.
• Proficiency in managing temporary works, including formwork, falsework, erection methodologies, temporary stability requirements, and lifting operations.
• Experience in high-rise building construction projects and thorough knowledge of associated construction requirements and codes of practice is preferred.
• Experience of working in mountainous and remote terrains is preferred
• Proven ability to arrange logistics and supply chain efforts to support project schedules.

• Experience working on construction projects in the KSA, Middle East, or GCC region, in either a construction management or direct construction role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently, while also demonstrating strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
• Passion for taking ownership of projects and providing sound technical guidance to contractor staff and field engineers.
• Previous experience in developing young local engineers.
