Project Overview:

Trojena (The Mountains of NEOM) will be an iconic, world-class destination, blending natural and developed landscapes and will offer unique experiences for residents and visitors alike. Located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia in the region of Tabuk just 50km from the coast, Trojena will be a destination like no other on earth. Based upon the principles of eco-tourism facilities will include a folded vertical village, a lake with water sports and event facilities, high altitude ski village, observatory, world leading health and wellbeing facilities and a nature reserve which will be home to unique wildlife, heritage sites and exploration opportunities. With over 3,600 hotel, 2,200 homes, 9 iconic buildings and 100 world class indoor and outdoor experiences Trojena will become the ultimate mountain destination. Job Summary:

• Work with the Cost Estimation Team at Neom Trojena Project.
• Takes the lead in the implementation, administration and maintaining project cost control system to track project budgets, commitments,
• expenditures, and forecasts.
• Ensures accurate, effective, and reliable cost assessments for project control.
• Ensures compliance with cost control procedure in the execution of project activities.

Major Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and understanding all relevant project documents relating to cost control of allocated projects.
• Reviewing project timesheets and the allocation of man hours against pre-approved work orders or estimated hours at completion on a timely manner.
• Reviewing payment application or invoices and making recommendation.
• Establishing project control budgets based on approved project cost estimate.
• Reviewing cost commitment and expenditure information for input to computerized cost control and reporting system.
• Producing cost status reports and advising management of any forecast cost overruns.
• Maintaining accessible cost control registers and dashboards.
• Assists in the preparation and review of Company estimates.
• Assures value for money on all Neom services, Works and materials procurement.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• University degree preferably in: Civil Engineering or Urban-Regional-Town Planning coupled with experience/qualifications in Applied Finance-&-Investment and/or Real Estate Development, and/or MBA, and/or Strategic Planning.
• 20-years minimum actual design experience including 5 years leading and managing various multi-discipline design projects studies and reports e.g. White Papers, feasibility studies, front end engineering design.
• Demonstrate minimum of five (5) years bottom line involvement in the economics of infrastructure and industrial project development.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Very high level of oral, written and presentation communication skills.
• High level of skill interfacing with and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to provide strong, diverse-broad ranging active technical leadership to espouse and enforce a consistent approach that nurtures a culture of creativity, innovation and empowerment.
• Strong direction leadership, people management and persuasive communication skills.
• Able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Knowledge of Sustainability principles, key sustainability guidelines, and certification organizations, including LEED, BREAM, CEEQUAL etc.
• Financial planning-&-management, resource planning-management-organization.
• Familiarity with Engineering Design and Construction practices.
• Accountable, response, nurturing and team building
• Conflict resolution skills, tolerant, inclusive and covers diversity.
• Excellent skills in the development of collaborative working relationships across a wide range of departments and entities.
