Project Overview:
Bechtel is pursuing a significant new award of work in Egypt. The Project will cover the development of luxurious residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, tourism amenities, and economic zones. If successful, Bechtel’s contract for the delivery of this project will be for project management and construction management services. This position is contingent upon project award, client approval and staffing plan changes.

Job Summary:
In this position, you will leverage industry trends and best practices to execute project talent strategies and goals. You will be responsible for implementing and coordinating employee training and development programs for the project. You will work to coordinate and help in successfully executing the programs, from participant identification through evaluation, as well as collaborating with Subject Matter Experts from each function to successfully deliver the program.
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate closely with Project stakeholders, Regional and Global Business Unit (GBU) Talent Management, and GBU stakeholders on the delivery of corporate, GBU and functional training programs
- Coordinate and manage project course planning, scheduling and promotion for courses in cooperation with regional and GBU resources.
- Coordinate the facilitation and hosting of in-person and virtual learning events, ensuring appropriate logistical coordination, preparation, and planning is in place.
- Schedule course offerings in the Learning Management System (LMS) and update the LMS with course completions, and other learning and user data
- Coordinate the delivery of Talent Special Programs at the project level which may include RISE, Co-op/Intern, and Early Career Hire programs. Provide regular status reports and communications to Project stakeholders and GBU Talent Management.
- Support monitoring and evaluation of data collection, analysis, and reporting requirements of program.
- Coordinate the project onboarding and “buddy” programs to ensure a positive employee experience
- Support the wider human resources team, as needed, to ensure timely delivery of project HR services
- Comply with project and GBU reporting requirements and administrative items.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Typically requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
- Strong project management skills, coordination skills with knowledge/use of project management tools and systems.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (reading, writing and presentation skills) is required.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Data analytics skills and abilities.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot and use creative problem-solving in a fast-paced, learning environment while consistently providing outstanding customer service.
- Prior experience providing technical and instructional support to facilitators and participant during Virtual Instruction Led Training (VILT) and Instructor Led Training (ILT) sessions
- Ability to adjust quickly and effectively to changing priorities and deadlines and provide timely responses to our customers.
- Strong oral and written communications skills and ability to motivate and collaborate with others to achieve team goals.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible and organized to work in a fast-paced team-based environment.
- Prior experience with virtual-classroom platforms such as Microsoft Teams
- Intermediate proficiency working in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Data analytics skills and abilities.
- Knowledge of SAP, Business Objects and SuccessFactors.
