About the Project
Bechtel, a global leader in project management, engineering, procurement and construction, has been selected by Western Sydney Airport Co as its Delivery Partner for the Western Sydney Airport, a $5.3 billion greenfield facility in Badgerys Creek, New South Wales. This will be a landmark project for both New South Wales and Australia and is due for completion at the end of 2026.

About the Role
***Please note this is a 12 month contract***
In this role you will:
- Maintain the WHS statistical data which includes entering, sorting, and manipulating data in a web-based data records management system.
- Identify opportunities to integrate between databases and reporting tools to improve reporting; seek opportunities to drive innovation and process improvement within the WHS reporting spectrum.
- Provide inputs to the following reoccurring reports relative to the Delivery Partner: Project Weekly reports, Project Monthly Reports and ad-hoc reports as requested by the Project WHS Manager.
- Assist in testing databases and working with IT and the appropriate managers to resolve deficiencies during the development phases of WHS information systems.
- Assist in the development and distribution of WHS policies, procedures, specifications, alerts, bulletins, and other similar information.
- Assist in implementing the review, updating and publishing of the project WHS procedures.
- Coordinate the project WHS statistics reports on Fatalities, Lost Work Day Incidents, Medical Treatment Incidents, First Aid Incidents, Near Miss Incidents, Vehicle/Property Damage/Fire Incidents, and Environmental Incidents.
- Ensure confidentiality of data prepared and reported as necessary.
- Preparing and formatting documents, reports and presentations
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to extract and compile data for reports
- Ability to analyze and interpret information and make recommendations.
- Attention to detail and thorough proofreading skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to use Bechtel standard computer-based systems as well as other systems used within WHS
- Microsoft Excel experience – Intermediate Level
- An energetic, target driven, team player
- Strong demonstrated data administration experience.
