Project Overview:
Job Summary:
In this role, you will manage a project’s supply chain operations and its assigned Supply Chain personnel to establish and implement the procurement and subcontract planning, acquisition, order administration, and delivery of goods and/or services. Your team will execute the project Supply Chain plan, ensuring the monitoring of safety, quality, cost, and performance and that all contractual duties and obligations are met by all parties to each purchase order and subcontract.

Major Responsibilities:
- Manages project Supply Chain (procurement and subcontracts) functional personnel in all operations for a major project including defining and developing the execution strategy, scope of work, and coordinating the preparation of Supply Chain plans, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets ·
- Lead a team of experienced Contracts and Procurement professionals to foster a high-performance culture and deliver on supply chain and project objectives.
- Execute supply chain packages, plans, procedures, schedules, and budgets while mitigating claims and ensuring no impact to project delivery.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle—from pre-award through to administration and closeout —including leading negotiations and managing claims.
- Identify opportunities for schedule relief and claim avoidance, taking proactive steps to protect project interests and enhance performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to support seamless contract execution.
- Monitor safety, quality, cost, and performance, ensuring all contractual obligations are met by all parties to each purchase order and subcontract
- Prepare recommendations and reports for major material and service contracts, considering legal, commercial, and financial implications.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 19+ years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end contract and procurement management, including claims handling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Project Controls, Engineering, Health Safety and Environment, Sustainability, Quality and Construction to achieve project goals.
