Project Overview:

Bechtel is pursuing a significant new award of work in Egypt. The Project will cover the development of luxurious residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, tourism amenities, and economic zones. If successful, Bechtel’s contract for the delivery of this project will be for project management and construction management services.

Job Summary:

In this position, you will lead a team and oversee the uniform application of the Bechtel project risk management policy, process, and procedures as well as risk software deployment support. You will provide oversight, training, and mentoring of project risk analysts and specialists toward project and corporate objectives. Your leadership will be essential in safeguarding project security and success. 

Major Responsibilities:

GBU

• Manages all risk software, bringing initiatives on which products to use, create automatic dashboards with GBU Project Risk Manager contribution and other functional leaders in the company 
• Liaises with Bechtel Innovation Centre and BDAC to cross-pollinate innovation initiatives 
• Manages the technical deployment of risk software to new projects, identifying and understanding configuration requirements, deviations, advises of any constraints and agreed changes and provides administration services to the project deployment 
• Provides product management and system administration of all Project Risk Management tools/risk software (including licensing admin)  

Corporate

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13  years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience​

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Master’s degree in engineering, Construction or Management (preferred) Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, Construction or Management (minimum) Knowledge of International Risk Standards e.g. ISO31000, PMBok, and associated standards e.g. ISO 9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, etc.
• Ability to support and perform Quantitative Schedule Risk Management (QSRA)
• Experience facilitating risk workshops, risk reviews/ sessions.
• Excellent communication skills with multiple levels of Management Team player with ability to lead a multinational, multi-dimensional organization
• Experience with the holistic approach of risk management on Portfolio and/or Program level. Experience and knowledge of all discipline’s risks during all Project stages from feasibility till handover e.g. procurement/contractual, QHSE, reputational Risks, etc.
• Preferably previous experience with industry-standard software for risk management/analysis programs such as SAFRAN, ARM and @ Risk software
