Mining and Metals:
Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. Job Summary:
In this role, you will source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of positions. You will work with hiring managers to create and post job requisitions, analyze resumes for relevant skills, knowledge, and experience, and assist with the selection process. Your work will contribute to bringing top talent to work for Bechtel, ensuring a competitive edge, and driving organizational growth.
"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership”.
Major Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for candidates for a variety of positions, complying with company policy and government regulatory guidelines.
- Analyzing resumes for relevant skills, knowledge, and qualifications, conducting screening interviews, assisting managers with interviews, testing and ranking candidates, extending offers, and providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
- Working with managers to create appropriate requisitions and ads (e.g., developing job descriptions, posting on internal and external sites, providing specifications to external recruiting agencies, etc.)
- Developing candidate talent pipelines through multiple sourcing channels including internal applicant tracking systems, social & professional networks, employee referrals, alumni networks, social media, job boards, and search engines to identify and attract top talent.
- Conducting initial screening to assess interest level, career goals, qualifications, work history, salary requirements, and culture fit, and providing information about the organization and position.
- Participating in employment fairs, campus recruiting activities, and/or building sourcing pipelines/networks for targeted talent pools. Participating in the planning and execution of virtual and in person regional career events.
- Supporting and administering regional talent acquisition programs such as employee referral bonus programs, etc. Participating in the delivery and communication of training programs for the regional talent acquisition teams.
- Supporting communications across multiple audiences to assist with the roll-out and implementation of key or new Talent Acquisition processes and procedures.
- Working with the regional talent acquisition teams to identify and resolve regional data quality/compliance issues.
- Managing required pre-employment processes such as background investigations, employment/degree verification, drug-screening, and the right to work/employment verification.
- Supporting, administering TA technology & systems includes enhancements & improvements, day-to-day troubleshooting & ongoing maintenance, liaising with vendors & tech providers, coordinating product updates or new technology launches.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent), or professional career in the areas of Human Resources/People Management such as Psychology, Business Administration or related, and at least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition or 6 to 9 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of proactive search strategies in the market, as well as Diversity and Inclusion strategies and networks.
- Ability to adjust quickly and effectively to changing priorities and deadlines and to provide timely responses to our clients.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible and organized to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Contributing team member willing to step in to support critical department deadlines as needed.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Power BI (desirable).
- Advanced level of English (will be evaluated in interview).
- Experience managing ATS.
