Mining and Metals:
Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. Job Summary:
In this role, you will coordinate Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) information and data management, innovation, training and awareness initiatives for multiple projects in support of the implementation of the M&M GBU ES&H program. You will work with experts to review course materials and awareness strategies and assist with the processes for content delivery. Your efforts to optimize training and communication will help the ES&H program achieve continuous improvement goals for health and safety on the job.
"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership”.
Major Responsibilities:
- Planning, developing, and monitoring the creation of graphic and technical materials for meetings, trainings, visual campaigns, and other methods to promote knowledge and awareness of the three ES&H disciplines.
- Planning, developing, and monitoring presentations and visual launches of awareness campaigns and recognition programs to promote leadership and best practices at the GBU level, including monitoring of ongoing projects.
- Developing, implementing, and assisting in the creation and publication of perception surveys at the GBU and project levels, integrating results and interpreting trends to support action plans and continuous improvement.
- Assisting in data management and analysis, preparing reports, presentations, ES&H performance evaluations, and trend analyses at the GBU level, consolidating project and GBU results.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring resources to improve visibility of results through new technologies and/or innovations available internally or externally.
- Maintaining and updating the ES&H website, SharePoint file system, ES&H forms, databases, training records, and other web tools and technologies for program management.
- Planning, developing, monitoring, and maintains the ES&H communication plan, timely reporting of activities, ensuring and coordinating content with specialists, and disseminating through available communication channels. May also participate as a facilitator in various sessions.
- Interacting with authorized external vendors to carry out duties related to the scope of the GBU ES&H team.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to review training materials and awareness strategies.
- Interacting at the project level with ES&H teams to identify reporting needs and standardize work methods and identifying and proposing action plans in response to trends identified from available data.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) related to engineering, environmental, safety, health, education, or a science-related discipline and 1-2 years of relevant experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in administrative tasks, data management, audiovisual design, statistical analysis, and artificial intelligence.
- Knowledge in artificial intelligence tools.
- Organized and skilled in the use of software and data analysis.
