Job Summary:

In this role, you will create an engaging learning climate at Bechtel and employ a variety of facilitation tools and techniques, to increase participation and ensure the delivery of learning objectives. You will design courses, implement content development, and facilitate workshops. Your solutions will prepare employees and teams with the skills they need to unlock potential and elevate performance. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Developing e-Learning and Instructor led courses in partnership with a content SME through all stages of the learning design process.   
• Developing graphics, animations, videos, and multi-media.  
• Performing technical troubleshooting during and after the production process. 
• Conducting quality assurance testing on all training materials created, including loading, testing, and evaluating programs in the Learning Management System (SuccessFactors). 
• Staying up to date with the latest design methods, theories, and technologies.  
• Facilitating learning on a variety of topics both virtually and in person across the organization.   
• Utilizing multiple facilitation methods to engage course participants.  
• Making minor modifications to learning design to accommodate regional training needs.  
• Providing input and recommendations to support the design of future courses .  
• May deliver one-to-one coaching for leaders and individuals. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technologies, Instructional Design, or related discipline  (or international equivalent)  and at least 5 years’ experience in adult learning design and development, with at least 2 years’ experience in building corporate training courses and materials.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Synthesia) to support cross-platform deployment.
• Graphic design skills and experience in development of training video content.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint,).
• Ability to work independently and function as an effective team player across multiple organizations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Developed e-Learning courses in partnership with a content SME through all stages of the learning design process.
• Performed technical troubleshooting during and after the LMS production process.
• Collaborated with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand their training needs, evaluate existing process and training documentation to identify the most suitable content to address learning requests.
• Developed eLearning courses for a corporate environment in previous roles.
