Project Overview:

Mining and Metals: 

Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. This shift to clean energy—and the need for commodities—is critical to underpinning the energy transition. At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net zero in a way which is more sustainable than ever before.  

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide document management support by using ECMS (Enterprise Content Management Systems), distributing, maintaining, and retrieving project records in accordance with company guidelines. You will assist with customer service, questions, issues, updates, quality checks, and project closeout activities. Your attention to detail and data accuracy will help ensure successful compliance with document and records management procedures. 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Providing document and/or records management to include receiving, processing, distributing, retrieving and maintaining documents and/or records in accordance with established policies, and procedures.
  • Performing document/record entry using enterprise content management system (ECMS).
  • Monitoring and reviewing data entry for accuracy by self performing quality checks.
  • Processing numerous documents, maintaining data integrity through a variety of procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines. Adjusting priorities according to direction.
  • Performing a variety of records management clerical duties of either a general or specialized nature.
  • Producing reports using standard office automation tools such as MS Excel and Word.
  • Assigning document numbers and enter related pertinent information into the EDMS as required.
  • Maintaing filling system and record copies of project documents as directed by supervisor.
  • Interfacing on a routine basis with a variety of project personnel providing support/responding to questions. Operating standard office equipment, including automation tools.
  • Performing data entry to produce and maintain logs, transmittals, and track documentation as required.
  • Assembling, copying, and distributing documentation packages; preparing and processing records for scanning and/or archiving.
  • Maintaining proper document configuration management in support of engineering and   construction. Performing quality control of scanned images and data entry.
  • Providing general and technical support to project personnel in the use of InfoWorks and other software used by Document Control.
  • Accurately tracking and reporting time worked on daily log. Adhering to all government charging practices.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Operation in Aconex at an intermediate to advanced level, specific to the Document Management Function
  • MS Office medium or advanced level
  • Previous experience in Engineering and Construction Projects
  • Teamworks skills
  • Knowledge of reporting tools or methods.
