Mining and Metals:

Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. Job Summary:

In this role, you will be required to conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project’s control systems aspects. You will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of control systems components and processes. Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure unique and complex requirements of a project’s control systems aspects are met.

Major Responsibilities:

• Planning and conducting independent Control Systems work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of on Control Systems engineering techniques, procedures and criteria on a medium size project or assignment in support of a global business unit.
• Communicating complex technical issues and recommends solutions to upper management.
• Supporting preparation of MTO, cost estimates, staffing needs and schedules
• Preparing or overseeing the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and supports implementation and assists with performance reporting.
• Coordinating with client representatives, as directed, to obtain their approval of on Control Systems aspects of the work.
• Conducting or leading special studies of new Control Systems engineering methods, materials and techniques.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree in Engineering related to the position, and 10-13  years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Work experience developing material requisitions and technical evaluation.
• Knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation Platform and Office
• Knowledge in Specification and Definition of Communications and Fiber Optic Systems.
• Knowledge in Control System, DCS, PLC.
• Knowledge in Specification and Definition of Field Instrumentation
• Intermediate English level.
