Job Summary:

Bechtel is seeking a Training Coordinator who will be is responsible for supporting the learning and development team in delivering high quality learning, both within the National Program Management Organization (NPMO) and to its stakeholders. A strong positive “can do” attitude and passion for serving others is essential. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to L&D team regarding the design, development, implementation, and deployment of learning solutions
  • Keeps abreast of advances in relevant office automation technology, equipment, and software applications, especially relating to learning and development
  • Partners with leadership and prepares reports and studies of an analytical nature, such as course development tracking, learning metrics and dashboards
  • Ensures that participant registration, enrollment, and training records are maintained
  • Assists in L&D related activities, such as instructional design, learning administration, and employee development, by conducting specific studies, research and analysis
  • Participates in the development of presentations
  • Supports learning events (e.g., venue selection, room set up, materials production, logistics, catering, room tear down)
  • Helps prepare overhead budget; monitors financial and service activities against approved budgets
  • Performs special assignments as requested
  • May prepare or provide input to daily work planning and assist in coordinating learning activities
  • Helps implement automated document management systems within assigned project/department
  • Organizes material for meetings, presentations, and training sessions
  • Interviews, recommends the selection of, trains, and plans and schedules activities for clerical and other support personnel
  • Informs all concerned personnel of any improvement/waste reduction in work processes


    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in L&D, Human Resources, Business, or another related field
  • 3+ years of experience as support personnel in education or learning and development
  • Strong time management and organization skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in Arabic and English languages
  • Ability to provide feedback and support to other team members
  • Ability to monitor and control department overhead budgets and financial reports
  • Ability to work independently as well as take direction from others
  • Strong “can do” positive attitude, with a passion for serving others and learning
