Bechtel is seeking an experienced Talent Development Specialist to join us in our Riyadh office. In this role, you will have a range of responsibilities within the Talent Management (TM) function to meet business and Human Resource (HR) objectives. You will primarily provide support for delivery of the Early Career Hire (ECH) and internship programs, along with ad hoc support for organizational development (OD), change management (CM), and performance management (PM) initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Tailor,coordinate and deliver our ECH and intern programs for the Middle East region.
  • Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the ECH program,
  • Monitor the ongoing success of the ECH program, and report out on success metrics.
  • Liaise regularly with regionally assigned HR Business Partner/s and TM colleagues to support the implementation of the overall TM strategy (ensuring Saudization requirements are taken into consideration).
  • Liaise with local project leadership and HR team members to develop and deliver other high-impact OD activities (at both the individual and team level).
  • Support the regional Learning & Delivery (L&D) Specialist, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of workshops and learning solutions to meet business and talent development needs (as needed)
  • Work to continuously improve relevance, effectiveness and delivery of TM  programs through evaluation, data analysis, and identification of improvement opportunities.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years related experience or 8 years of overall experience in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering HR programs (e.g. early career hire or intern programs, OD, TM, or L&D)

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • Data analytics skills and abilities
  • Ability to adjust quickly and effectively to changing priorities and deadlines and provide timely responses to customers
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible, and organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced team-based environment
  • Contributing team member who is willing to step in to support critical department deadlines as required
  • Intermediate proficiency working in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Professional HR or OD/TM Certification
  • High level English proficiency
