Project Overview:
Job Summary:
The Risk Lead is responsible for provision of support and guidance for Project Risk Management (PRM) and relevant internal and external stakeholder activities across the project. Responsible for providing technical advice and supporting the Project Risk Manager to facilitate all aspects of the project risk management program, the role requires a people person with ability to drive focus on PRM, lead through influence and tie PRM with key interfaces across the project scope.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the project risk management program across the project.
- Manage and Maintain risk activities to ensure alignment with the risk management plan.
- Mentor, train and advise project leaders in risk awareness. Deliver training in project risk management.
- Arrange and Facilitate Workshops Deliver to the Project Execution Plan. Reporting to key stakeholders
- Represent the project risk management program at project leadership meetings.
- Liaise with Bechtel and customer leaders in all aspects of the project risk management program
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in risk management in a project environment
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in projects ideally within construction or infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience in Qualitative and Quantitive Risk Management is necessary.
- Relevant recognized Diploma, Degree, or Professional Certification Experience in the Infrastructure / Heavy Civil / Aviation / Renewables / Mining / Construction industries advantageous
- Ability to work with limited supervision to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously under pressure
