Project Overview:
Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports. As we consider the future of aviation globally and in the GCC, we are very enthusiastic about the future of aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We are currently considering candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh.
Job Summary:
Assists in the development and implementation of process improvement efforts through data capture, analysis and reporting, to support ESH function in the areas of learning and development, project/customer/GBU & corporate reporting, IRIS, Power Bi, Aconex and customers reporting system. and development of project-wide ESH related Communications. Duties require accuracy, judgment, initiative, and understanding of relevant ES&H processes, automation tools and associated supporting computer software. #LI-AR2
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ESH departmental databases for logging project ES&H related records.
- Ensure required data is input and produce department reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)
- Train users in use of the relevant ESHQ data capture systems as required, such as Aconex, ProCore etc.
- Understands and supports the Project & Bechtel missions, goals, and strategic objectives for process improvement for ESH.
- Provide critical analysis of data and report on trends to ESH project functional & Terminals Management.
- Creates forms and other methods of web-based technology to improve user effectiveness and response, including Power Bi.
- Compiles data needed to prepare critical items reports and other supplementary reports, as required.
- Oversees the Project Incident & Lessons Learned database for compliance with recording requirements.
- Participates in department staff meetings, produces minutes and statuses tasks as required
- Performs work which requires sound technical knowledge in a specialized ESH process improvement field.
- Initiates actions resulting in the development of tools and resources.
- Works independently with ES&H team members and other functions under limited supervision.
- Provides early warning to Project ESH Management Team regarding process deficiencies or gaps.
- Skilled in the use of computer artwork and web design packages.
- Has working familiarity with Bechtel’s environmental, safety and health processes and procedures and becomes familiar and knowable on client ESH related processes and procedures.
- Supports ESH Manager(s) on training development and launching and promoting project and corporate ESH program initiatives and campaigns.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- College Degree/Diploma in a related field (Data management, EH&S, IT) or three years’ work experience in a similar role.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Technical knowledge of computer-based data collection and analysis tools, including Aconex.
- Technical knowledge of computer-based training development software.
- Technical knowledge of Adobe Suite desktop publishing software, SharePoint web developer, FrontPage programming code, and Flash incorporation into training products.
- Knowledge of learning and development systems, applications of ESH and automation methods, and application of computers to associated process improvement tasks.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and criteria pertinent to ESH learning and development needs.
- The above is normally acquired through:
- Recognized degree from an accredited college or university, or
- Sufficient number of specialized courses, or
- Equivalent demonstrated experience in data collection and analysis, ES&H and learning and development functions.
- Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication and in preparing clear and comprehensive correspondence.
