Job Summary:

The Senior Organizational Development (OD) Specialist is responsible for the delivery of the overall enterprise OD and Change Management (CM) strategy, developed within the Communities of Expertise (CoE), to meet business and HR objectives within their assigned region.  Scope includes assessment, consultation, development and delivery of organizational development interventions and solutions, and creating and implementing change management strategies and plans.



  • Consult on and facilitate OD projects and CM initiatives. Manage successful execution of these tools across the region to include projects and disciplines in a way that is impactful and supports organizational goals and priorities.
  • Deliver and embed assessment and diagnostic tools (e.g. Insights, cultural diagnostics, talent assessments, engagement surveys) and continuous improvement tools to analyse, assess, review and improve individual or team performance.
  • Deliver OD interventions that align and integrate structure, capability, systems, processes and culture to support organization goals and objectives for projects, teams or individuals.
  • Facilitate a change-ready culture by engaging, partnering and coaching leaders and stakeholders and provide leadership and guidance for change management initiatives.
  • Evaluate organizational capability by assessing change readiness and capacity, and identify dependencies and risks of potential scenarios and options.
  • Apply CM processes and tools to create strategies which support adoption of changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Partner with L&D and Communications teams to implement change management plans.
  • Use enterprise processes & systems, organizational competencies and behavioral framework to support development of employees and teams to achieve long term business performance and growth.
  • Utilize and embed organization development tools, models, and frameworks across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate and lead transparent communications with the Talent Management Community of Expertise (CoE), Enterprise leaders, and Business Partners (BP) regarding priorities, feedback and process/program performance to ensure OD and CM strategies meet business needs and remain competitive.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources, or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years related experience and demonstrated increasing responsibility over time or 14 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated competence and experience in the design, delivery and facilitation of interventions, workshops and focus groups.
  • Knowledge and understanding of CM models and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in internal consulting, coaching, effective presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Leading change and organizational development initiatives.
  • Ability to travel 10-15%.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Application of OD theory into OD plans; such as drivers of team and organization performance, psychoanalytic assessment, group dynamics, systems theory.
  • Development and application of OD diagnostic tools (engagement surveys, assessment, cultural diagnostics) and use in planning.
  • Critical factors in planning change across business areas; identifying risks and creating mitigation plans.
  • Strong project management, facilitation and communication skills for delivery of enterprise-wide change initiatives and team building sessions.
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation to support fact-based and predictive decision-making.
  • Change management certification (Prosci).
