Bechtel is offering career growth opportunities to self-motivated, high performing Senior Planners seeking design-build projects within the semi-conductor industry.



  • Prepares schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations. 
  • Performs integration of individual schedules into the total project plan. 
  • Prepares performing organization's work logic in support of overall project schedule. 
  • Prepares and maintains Level 1 management schedule and Level 3 control schedule.
  • Responsible for ensuring all scope is reflected in the schedule accurately.
  • Develops schedule narrative.
  • Calculates required schedule contingency.
  • Performs schedule resource loading and leveling. 
  • Coordinates the development of all bulk commodity release / installation curves and job-hour curves for each discipline.
  • Maintains open communications with other organizations to support schedule maintenance and reporting. 
  • Identifies schedule restraints.
  • Identifies and reports activities that have a critical or potential impact on the schedule.
  • Prepares delay analysis for schedule impacts.
  • Develops schedule recovery plans.  
  • Responsible for issuing reports required by Bechtel management and project procedures.
  • Evaluates subcontractor schedules for integration, required work-arounds, or potential schedule improvements.


Qualifications and Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relative work experience performing, monitoring, and reviewing scheduling functions which include planning, critical path analysis, and schedule performance measurement.
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Expert proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera Risk Analysis software.
  • Advanced proficiency with Project Controls software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and objectives
  • Ability to travel
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent proposal and project requests and changing priorities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Construction experience on large, complex Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) jobs.
  • Recent experience in the semi-conductor industry.
