Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Talent Acquisition leader who will partner effectively with senior stakeholders, manage a team of the Americas’ recruitment managers and recruiters, and contribute significantly to our Talent Acquisition agenda. Recruiting for Bechtel not only matters, but the flawless execution of it directly enables us to achieve the business’s needs. This role will be report to the Global Talent Acquisition Manager and be a trusted part of the leadership team.


Your team will be responsible for building a network that enables phenomenal stakeholder and candidate experience and is a driver of future growth. In addition to driving a culture of continuous improvement and development, the Recruitment Manager of the Americas will inspire a team to achieve greatness, interpret and establish metrics and reports that are clearly and easily understood, and drive initiatives that allow us to go from good to great with flawless execution.


•    Manage a regionally deployed talent acquisition organization and ensure all staffing and recruitment targets are met for both permanent and contingent hires
•    Provide oversight and guidance on statutory requirements for recruitment within the region
•    Partner with Senior HR Business Partners and Senior Management to forecast talent acquisition needs and prepare the regional recruitment organization to meet the staffing/hiring requirements
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers as well as key university teams and executive sponsors 
•    Implement key talent acquisition initiatives as they related to all aspects of recruitment
•    Lead sourcing strategies through a variety of sourcing channels in partnership with the Manager of Global TA Projects and Programs with an emphasis on passive candidate attraction while maximizing the benefits of social recruiting tools
•    Ensure diversity & inclusion goals and enterprise strategies are met
•    Create and foster relationships with various professional organizations to attract and recruit niche candidates
•     Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices
•    Evaluate Talent Acquisition performance metrics regularly to provide updates Senior Business Partners and Senior Management and Global Manager of Talent Acquisition


Basic Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 13 years of experience in talent acquisition OR 17 years of overall experience in lieu of a Degree with a minimum of 13 years in talent acquisition
•    Prior experience implementing and managing regional talent acquisition programs and projects with multiple business units 
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a regionally deployed talent acquisition team in either North or South America
•    Proven success over large scale talent acquisition efforts supporting both salaried and high-volume recruitment 
•    Strong external/internal networking and collaboration skills 
•    Understanding of talent acquisition best practices
•    Strong written communication skills, relationship management, analytical and critical thinking skills
•    Ability to apply process improvement using performance metrics  
•    Proven skill in influencing without authority to achieve group and organizational goals
•    Demonstrated understanding of functional organization, matrix structure and organizational culture
•    Ability to travel as needed


Preferred Qualifications:
•    Current AIRS (Advanced Internet Recruitment Strategies) and/or recruiting certification
•    Hold expert level of knowledge in all talent acquisition components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, etc.
•    Behavioral Interviewing techniques
•    Trained on Talent Acquisition systems & software (Success Factors, Applicant Tracking System, Candidate Relationship Management etc.)
•    Experience working with global teams and cultures 
•    Experience working outside of country of origin
•    Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required
•    Ability to present new recruiting concepts to executive leadership and technical communities
•    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
•    Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
