Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead implementation and monitoring of a project quality program and provide technical direction to peers. You will define and implement system tools and procedures, develop metrics and goals, facilitate causal analysis teams, and provide oversight of design validation and final inspection activities. You will ensure quality in high impact activities that are key to project success.

Major Responsibilities:
- Supports the effective implementation of applicable corporate or project quality requirements.
- Prepares and completes quality audit checklists and participates in quality audits of corporate/project quality program/plans including, as needed, pre-award assessments of potential suppliers and subcontractors as a prospective lead auditor or a qualified lead auditor.
- Reviews and monitors nonconforming conditions and associated corrective actions to ensure quality program effectiveness.
- Reviews and determines applicable quality requirements for inclusion in selected engineering, procurement, and construction documents.
- Reviews and reports on project associated quality-related procedures and manuals for conformance to project quality program/plan requirements.
- Drafts quality procedures for review, approval, and issuance in accordance with approved processes.
- Drafts revisions/amendments to the corporate and/or project quality program/plans.
- Analyzes, identifies actions and recommends solutions to mitigate performance risk.
- Follows up on actions taken in response to audit findings to ensure adequacy of completed corrective actions.
- Performs supplier/subcontractor qualification surveys, review requests for proposals, evaluate bid documents, review supplier/subcontractor quality programs, and perform source inspections, surveillances and quality audits.
- Provides input into the development of standardized metrics and responds to engineering, construction, procurement, and others who request guidance on implementation of quality requirements.
- Engages with functions to ensure quality requirements are built into processes.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Level 1
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Level 2
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the quality principles and their application to engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, and operations.
- Knowledge of the application of corrective actions to reconcile nonconforming conditions and conditions adverse to quality.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (ASME NQA-1 and 10CFR50) and functions which impact the quality program/plan.
- Proficiency in oral and written communications.
- Ability to Travel
- Skilled in the use of applicable computer programs.
- Prior experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or other quality related field preferred.
- Prior experience in the preparation and establishment quality programs/plans within the project.
- Prior experience in the writing and review of quality‑related procedures prepared on the project to ensure compliance with the project quality program/plan.
- Prior experience in reviewing new or revised regulatory requirements and incorporation into the quality program/plan.
- Prior experience in project audit and surveillance programs that verify the effectiveness of the project quality program/plan and enable the timely mitigation of technical and program/project risks.
- Qualified ASME NQA-1 lead auditor or able to become qualified within first 6 months of assignment.
