Project Controls Planner, Functions Team

Infrastructures functional management team is adding a staff position for a project controls planner who will support multiple projects and prospects. This role reports to the Chief Planner and will gain experience planning all types of projects ranging from aviation, rail, civil, etc. This is a great opportunity to work with a small high-performance team in a fast paced environment. Full-time telework arrangements are available.

 

Role Overview

 

Performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities, as directed

 

Position Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assigned scheduling functions. Direct interface with management, and field teams as necessary for cost and schedule control monitoring, analysis and reporting
  • Provides day-to-day support to project team, and detailed monitoring and analysis of project budgets, schedules and actuals. Interfaces with other members of the project team, customers and others
  • Updates and maintains the project schedule data base information
  • Provides support to project financial reporting and trending functions and the invoice/billing review process as required
  • Provides support to PC Supervisor as requested
  • Supervises other project controls engineers for specific focus areas
  • Independently provides financial, cost reporting, trending analysis and recommends corrective actions
  • Responsible for analysis, development and presentation of impact integration measures

 

  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 4 years of project controls experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel
  • Applicants must have a valid driver’s license
  • The right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship
  • Experience in other areas of project controls (planning, scheduling, estimating, etc.) desirable
