Job Summary:

This is a short-term casual status position that will be based in Reston, VA. In this role, you will assist NS&E Functional Supply Chain Management and Business Development with proposals and nuclear supply chain initiatives as required. #LI-SNH

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Plans and develops all operations for a major project to include defining and developing the execution strategy, scope of work, and coordinating the preparation of Supply Chain plans, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets. 
  • Identifies opportunities for revenue enhancement, schedule relief and claim avoidance, and takes appropriate actions to protect Bechtel's interest and/or improve performance. 
  • Ensures the monitoring of safety, quality, cost, and performance and that all contractual duties and obligations are met by all parties to each purchase order and subcontract. 

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience or 19+ years of relevant work experience.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Experience managing large supply chain teams on a nuclear power project.
  • Experience with development of nuclear power proposals.
  • Ability to develop, present, and implement complex proposals. Practical experience in both Field and Home office Nuclear Procurement/Subcontracts.
  • Knowledge of NS&E Procurement & Subcontracts Procedures.
