Position Summary:

NS&E is seeking a Projet Information Manager (EPC+) to lead and implement the data integration, cross functional automation, information delivery and support the creation of a common data environment (PIM effort) with our partners and customers on the Poland AP1000 project.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Works with the project’s Functional teams, Project Information Manager(PIM),  NS&E Central Functional Systems Leads to design the IM architecture and strategy for the project.
  • Working with the PIM and project management, support the creation of a common data environment between Bechtel and our partner and customer.
  • Develops the project’s IM strategy and develops the project IM governance (Project Execution Plan/Automation/IM Plan) considering client and specific project requirements including regulations and customer directions regarding information assurance.
  • Mobilize project IM organization based on project defined requirements
  • Participate and provide input to other project procedures relating to IM scope as the project. evolves, as required and ensures compliance of project specific IM procedures
  • In alignment with functional requirements, coordinates and implements the integration and standard data flows to ensure data integrity and delivery internally on the project.
  • Leverages GBU standards and develops criteria and procedures for auditing and integrity checks to ensure data quality via reporting and analytics
  • Ensure Bechtel data security protocols are established and implemented as well as incorporating any project specific data security protocols above the Bechtel and NS&E standards
  • Manages and coordinates the deployment of the project application portfolio and systems to ensure they fit in with the overall IM strategy
  • Provides input and manages changes to the project application portfolio through all phases of the project
  • Oversees the project’s application technical support and deployment models in line with current Bechtel standards and project specific needs.
  • Champions innovation across the project by establishing a culture for ideas and improvement opportunities to be raised, considered and implemented.
  • Continually seeks ways in which various work processes and applications supporting them can be utilized to support the project and drive efficiency. Shares best practices with the GBU Central Functional leadership.
  • Liaises with NS&E Central Functions and Corporate Innovation teams on the development and deployment of new initiatives and technologies.
  • In alignment with functional requirements, develops, coordinates and implements the data handover requirements and methodologies externally for our customers
  • Participate and facilitate turnover of information to the client
  • Participate and facilitate information archive and closeout

 

Qualifications and Skills
Basci Qualifications 

  • Level 1: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent with at least 9 years of experience. In lieu of a degree 15  years of EPC project IM or IS&T experience of project IM or IS&T.
  • Level 2:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent with at least  13 years of experience. In lieu of a degree 19 years of EPC project IM or IS&T experience of project IM or IS&T.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience of managing IM teams on large complex projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, coordination skills with project, customer, peer groups (within and outside IS&T), and related stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to appraise and develop team members
  • Experience in an external facing role with direct client interactions on behalf of the project team. 
  • Thorough understanding and experience of automation, application portfolio and lifecycle application management and implementation
  • Proven record in innovation, strategic planning, and work process improvement.
  • A strong understanding of data modeling and governance/analytics methodologies and industry practices
  • Must have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of standard automation tools, software development process & system analysis, and the solid knowledge of project / application work processes.
  • Understanding of industry principles and regulatory requirements around data integration and data delivery
  • Knowledge of data analytics techniques, systems and tools
  • Knowledge of data at scale, relational databases.
  • Knowledge of the software and integration architecture of the core EPC applications.
  • Knowledge of Government and constituent agency cyber security and information assurance standards, guidelines, directives, regulations, and statutes.
