Job Summary:

The CWE Program Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing Bechtel’s construction execution performance. Partnering with the CWE Manager and Construction Operations Manager, this role leads and supports strategic programs that improve project outcomes, develop field capability, and scale best practices across all Global Business Units (GBUs).

Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate CCM (Construction Committee Meeting)  
    Lead preparation and facilitation of triannual CCMs to assess and improve construction team capabilities. 
  • Drive Recognition Programs 
    Manage various programs such as Construction Team of the Year (CTOY) initiative, Hardhat Excellence Awards, and Leadership Coin to highlight and reward outstanding team performance.
  • Organize Quarterly Construction Live Events/Seminars 
    Plan and execute engaging learning events to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and Maintain Job Architecture 
    Oversee the creation and upkeep of job roles and structures within the construction function to support career development.
  • Lead Functional Training Initiatives 
    Design and implement role based career paths and training matrices tailored to construction roles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage CWE Data Analytics & Reporting 
    Collect, analyze, and report on CWE metrics to inform decision-making and track progress against strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate Construction University Programs 
    Support the expansion and administration of Construction University offerings to build technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Support Planning for recurring Construction Conferences 
    Contribute to the development and execution of the upcoming construction conferences.
  • Oversee PTS & SME Pool Management 
    Maintain and optimize the pool of Project Technical Specialists (PTS) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure resource readiness and deployment. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Learning & Development / Communications experience
  • Familiarity with Bechtel’s construction systems and processes preferred
