Job Summary:
Position will be an integral part of the CWE Organization and will support the execution of Productivity Engagement Cycles (PECs) that measure productivity on Bechtel Construction job sites and the delivery of Field Leadership Development Programs. This position will serve as a primary member of the Satellite Support team and require a high degree of travel for a period of three to four weeks in duration, including international assignments.
This role will report to the Corporate Productivity Lead (CPL) and work closely with the CWE Operations Manager and CWE Corporate Specialist. This role supports a robust and dynamic data analytics program designed to increase workface efficiency and cultivate a strong leadership culture on our projects to retain our top field leadership talent. This role will be supported by the Global Construction CWE Organizational team in the home office and deployed CWEO project teams. Roles and responsibilities can rapidly change based on corporate initiatives, and candidate should be prepared to make directional shifts as needed to support project and company objectives. Candidate should have the ability to support multiple programs simultaneously.
This role prepares an associate to manage both CWE’s functions, including the measuring and interpretation of productivity data and the execution of leadership development programs that improve productivity. Candidates for this position may fall into one of two tracks – Leadership Development or Analytics. Prospective hires would be expected to demonstrate skills and knowledge in one of these tracks, with the expectation that they will attain skills in the other through one-the-job training.
This role is highly visible within the company and as such, candidate should have versatile communication abilities to address all levels of personnel and management. #LI-SM2
Major Responsibilities:
- Embrace the role of a coach and guide in problem solving. The COS does not simply solve problems in the field.
- Understand and demonstrate core competency in the industry standards for development coaching.
- Be knowledgeable about curriculum content and be able to recommend courses that meet site needs.
- Responsible for the delivery of High Performance Leaders (HPL) on assigned project site utilizing a discovery learning method.
- Implement Field Leadership Assessments and facilitate all stages of the LA process, if applicable, on project.
- Interface with Site Management and responsible parties for identification of course participants.Maintains metrics from CWEO programs, analyze data, and report to management.Become an expert on the PEC methodology and the elements of a strong statistical observation study.
- Represent data analysis accurately and effectively to management/client sponsors with result of influencing effective performance at the workface
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
- 2-4 years’ working knowledge in construction environment / workforce development.
- Basic knowledge of Project Life Cycle.
- Must have excellent people skills and the ability to deal with people in a professional manner and to contribute as a member of a team.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
