Job Summary:
In this role, you will work on financial analysis assignments in support of project and strategy development, financing and other commercial activities. You will assist in the identification, selection, and management of investments to improve financial return and lead budget development and forecasting. You will lead efforts to mitigate financial risk and ensure project profitability

Major Responsibilities:
- Works on a range of financial analysis assignments in support of project and strategy development, financing, M&A, and other commercial activities
- Performs complex financial and economic analysis using quantitative analytical techniques to evaluate profitability, risk, and other factors
- Evaluates information and/or data drawn from team members, contracts, current files and records, market data, surveys, and correspondence, and prepares models and other analysis based on this information
- Prepares project bidding and financing documentation, including qualifications and proposals, commercial agreements, and financing, development, or other arrangements
- Develops budgets and forecasts
- Researches markets and companies
- Analyzes the variance between actuals and budgets / forecast and report financial insight on trends and projects progress
- Support development of assigned projects from early-, mid-, and/or late-stages to construction ready status
- Represent Bechtel with partners, customers, landowners, government officials, utilities, community leaders, and other stakeholders
- Support project bids and project financing, including reviewing commercial agreements, analyzing potential finance structure, developing partnership structures and teaming arrangement, and preparing qualifications and proposals
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
- MBA, JD or other post-graduate degree preferred.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of key project finance concepts.
- Track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience interfacing directly with external parties such as customers, partners, consultants and advisors.
- Experience with the development of large-scale public-private partnership projects and/or experience with the development and successful commercialization of power generation projects.
- Experience with M&A transactions.
- Experience managing key development workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization, networking and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, sometimes over extended periods.
