IS&T utilizes enterprise level information management systems and practices to proactively respond to challenges at a global scale. They will also work with industry information management systems to coordinate a best in class response to computer-related incidents. The Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization hires in the following areas: Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, Information Security, Software Engineering/Development, Big Data Analytics, Information Management, and in other areas of support for our Corporate Systems. These areas all play an important role within our organization and are essential to the sharing of information and data collection amongst our employers, clients, and partners towards achieving our company's business goals and objectives.


The total number of hires and start dates are subject to workload and business conditions. Locations will vary based on project needs, and may include Houston, TX; Glendale, AZ; and Reston, VA, along with various project sites.


General Areas of Expertise

  • Critical Information Response Team (CIRT): The CIRT Infrastructure team is responsible for the systems and infrastructure that allow the Global Security teams to fulfill their mission. This includes designing systems, architecting solutions, developing applications, and ensuring availability.

  • Security Operations Center (SOC): Involved with digital forensics, incident response (DFIR), hunting, ethics and compliance investigations, and training for new members of SOC/CIRT. 

  • Information Security (InfoSec): Bechtel is a global company that uses many technologies and tools to maintain governance of our environment. As a member of the team, you are exposed to solutions from many cloud vendors and get to learn the inner workings of how these solution providers design their security management systems.

  • Threat Team: The threat team is involved with threat intelligence integration, security operations, malware analysis, forensics, network sensing and monitoring. Other duties may also involve threat intelligence generation and processing.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any Information Security related field  from an accredited college or university 
  • Must be a US Citizen 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA
  • Prior co-op or internship experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
