Project Overview:
The rapid growth of AI and digitalization is fueling unprecedented demand for data centers that require large, reliable sources of energy. In response to this market trend, the Renewables & Clean Power (R&CP) team have signed an early works contract to build one of the largest gas fired power generation facilities in the U.S. Our team is helping the customer progress early-stage development, that would lead to the start of full EPC delivery next year. The candidate will act as the Area Manager for the Combined Cycle area of the project in Pecos, Texas. The candidate may start in the home office in Reston, or on project site in Pecos, TX, to support preconstruction planning, ahead of project mobilization to the field when the candidate will locate on a long-term assignment to the project in Pecos, TX.
Job Summary:
The Project Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the coordination of fleet, transportation of personnel and logistics to support projects and operational needs for the project under the supervision of the Accommodation and Transportation Manager. The role will help ensures compliance with local regulations, adherence to company standards, and delivery of efficient, cost-effective services that support employee welfare and project readiness. #LI-KL1
Major Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of vehicles, and vehicle conditions.
- Liaise with transportation providers and internal stakeholders regarding transportation needs, VIP guests, lease renewals, special needs and act on any information given.
- Coordinate daily transport operations including, booking cab/limousine services, rental arrangement, and fleet usage
- Manage Car rental assignments, inbounds/outs, car transfers, car returns
- Manage vendor relationships for vehicle inspections, maintenance, and scheduling
- Support logistics planning and execution for regional project mobilization
- Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reporting
- Support onboarding and induction processes related to transport
- Serve as a point of contact for emergency logistics
- Manage and update the transportation reports daily
- Assist in the collection of information for weekly and monthly reports and dashboards
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Education and Experience Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
Preferred Experience and Requirements
- Associates degree plus 4 or more years of related experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Valid Drivers license
- Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills required
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems and advanced analytical ability to build and maintain spreadsheets and presentations.
