Project Overview:

Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global

Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects.

Job Summary:

Bechtel Energy needs an enthusiastic Craft Professional Engagement and IR Support Representative with excellent engagement skills to join the Port Arthur LNG team.

This site-based role, assigned to Industrial Relations will focus on executing the PALNG Craft Professional engagement and retention strategy, building a positive team culture with an engaged and motivate craft professional workforce.  #LI-TH1 

Major Responsibilities:

Your role will be rewarding and will include the following responsibilities:

• Develops an overarching craft professional engagement plan for the project and delivers in line with the plan.
• Supports all site engagement activities and events to engage and motivate the craft professional workforce, ensuring correct information is shared in a timely manner.
• Provides general support in the IR space for Craft Professional matters building their knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities of an IR Representative.
• Develops engagement campaigns and programs that inform and educate and align with IR project priorities.
• Manages Project milestone celebrations, celebrating success and ensuring the craft professional workforce are aware of their achievements.
• Consolidates Project reward and recognition programs and administers an effective program that recognizes individuals and teams for their efforts and achievements.
• Manages and coordinates craft professional events and activities ranging from Project celebrations, all hands, forums, wellbeing and mental health events, campaigns, demonstrations, and more.
• Participates in committees and advocates for the Craft Professional workforce.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Proven 5+ years of work experience in Industrial/Human Relations, communications, or a related field.
• Must have the right to work in the U.S

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Good analytical and strategic planning skills: able to prioritize, balance short and long-term priorities and manage simultaneous campaigns/projects.
• Experience in engagement/communications.
• Excellent oral and written communications/engagement skills and experience.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Industry experience a plus.
