Project Overview:

We are looking for people to join us in a long-term relationship to deliver these services in and around Perth where we are working within integrated teams with our customers and to help build Bechtel’s capabilities for even greater opportunities in the future. 

Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a document, records, and information management (DRIM) team to analyze, recommend, map, and implement work processes through to project completion. You will implement, support and troubleshoot the ECMS (Enterprise Content Management Systems).  You will develop metrics, prepare progress reports, and assist with training, assessments, and improvements. Your leadership will guide the team to execute successful document and records management services.

Major Responsibilities:

Level 1

  • Leads a medium sized document, records & information management (DRIM) team​
  • Manages the document and records management team to include analyze, recommend, map and implement document and/or records management work processes and data flows through full turnover to client​
  • Assists with training, implementation, assessments and improvements​
  • Develops metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of processes​
  • Establishes procedures and work instructions for document development, distribution and retention​

Level 2

  • Leads a large project document, records & information management (DRIM) team​
  • Works with Project team, functional teams, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure procedures and work processes are delivering the level of information required​
  • Leads training, implementation, assessments and improvements​
  • Prepares monthly progress reports for functional management​
  • Monitors work of support and/or professional personnel​
  • Establishes records formats as required by contract and storage requirements/methods​
  • Develops ongoing improvement of processes, where this is shown to be necessary, using Six Sigma methodologies

Education and Experience Requirements:

Level 1

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10  years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Level 2

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13  years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proper use of syntax.
  • Must have a minimum of eight years’ experience in document control preferably with Aconex. Experience must have been obtained within recent years.
  • Must be able to demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency using web-based file transfer applications, such as SharePoint Online or OneDrive.
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic to intermediate proficiency using standard office automation and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Power BI. Skills assessessments to determine proficiency level may be administered
