Project Overview:

Perth Airport is undertaking a major $5bn (AUD) redevelopment over the next 7 years which will see the consolidation of the airport terminals into a single terminal campus, construction of a second parallel runway and construction of supporting airport infrastructure including a new hotel and car parks. Bechtel was appointed for the Initiation Phase in February 2025. During the Initiation Phase, working in an integrated client management team as the Capital Portfolio Partner (CPP), Bechtel will be responsible for 1) leading the development of the systems, tools and processes, required by the integrated client team, to successfully plan and manage the redevelopment works, and 2) developing the portfolio cost & schedule baseline.

 

Job Summary:

Provides expertise in the design and delivery of Organizational Development interventions. Delivers Organizational Development interventions that assist internal clients and the customer, Perth Airport Pty Ltd, with large-scale organization wide transformation efforts.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Consults with senior leaders and the customer, to lead organizational design projects that address the changing needs of their organization.
  • Conducts organizational culture assessments, including baseline and follow-up assessment, to identify holistic solutions to shift the culture of an organisation.
  • Designs and develops assessment tools and diagnostic tools to analyze, assess, review, and improve individual, team, or organizational performance.
  • Coaches leaders and teams as needed.
  • Consults Hogan, Insults, and 360 debriefings as needed.
  • Recognized as advanced contributor with specialized skill set.
  • Creates and implements a communications strategy and plans that delivers relevant and timely information to diverse groups of stakeholders who are directly and indirectly affected by the transformation program.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong team orientation and ability to work in a matrixed organization
  • Experience and knowledge of how people and organizations go through a change, the change process and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Experience and knowledge of Organizational change management principles, methodologies, tools and best practices
  • Experience with data analysis and translating/communicating findings to inform decisions
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Proactive self-starter; effective in both team settings and as an individual contributor
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Strong meeting and workshop facilitation skills
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
