Project Overview:
Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Bechtel’s scope of service in Sentinel’s current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.
A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and planning day-to-day training activities for the Sentinel Project Training Program. You will be responsible for scheduling the appropriate training for project personnel, reserving facility resources and presenters and/or instructors as needed for in-person and online training across multiple work locations. This position is a full-time position located at the Project Management Office in Ogden, UT, and reports to the Training Supervisor, and works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off. #LI-SNH
Major Responsibilities:
Typical Responsibilities:
• Schedules in-person or Teams instructor/presenter led training using Microsoft Outlook at various project facilities
• Assist with the maintenance or providing of training material as required
• Administers and monitors all training and development programs to ensure goals are attained and schedules are met
• Support corrective action management responsibilities as requested
• Coordinates with O&AS Facilities and Administrative staff in reserving the necessary resources needed for scheduling training
• May Interface with project and customer assessors during surveillances, self-assessments, and audits
• Assists with performing quality reviews, assessments, and responding to feedback to improve training efficiency, processes, and cost efficiency
• Performs routine to complicated administrative duties of a responsible and confidential nature, under minimal supervision
• Handles routine and complicated items independently and anticipates problems and changing priorities
• Duties require accuracy, judgment, a moderate degree of initiative, discretion, diplomacy, and knowledge of protocol
• Anticipates changing priorities and problems, alerting supervisor as required
• May prepare detailed expense reports using Concur or other expense report software as required
• Reviews outgoing correspondence to ensure accuracy and proper format
• Assists in coordinating internal and/or external meetings
• May maintain shared team calendar using Outlook or other scheduling software, as appropriate
• Works with confidential information
• May assist with obtaining document numbers and submitting training documents to Document Control for processing into the electronic content management system

• Applies job skills and company policies & procedures to complete tasks
• Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
Job Complexity:
• Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations

• Limited supervision with latitude for judgment
• Regularly completes assignments with little to no assistance
• May assist less experienced team members
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires 2-4 years of related experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products, particularly with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate in a team environment with the ability to work with personnel at all levels with varied backgrounds
