Project Overview:
Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel’s India offices. The positions on the project will start as assignment in Navi Mumbai, Dahej or Nagothane.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Operations Analyst with a focus on Supply Chain Reporting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on supply chain data to drive operational efficiencies and support decision-making across various business functions. You will work closely with supply chain managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is accurately captured, processed, and presented in meaningful reports that inform strategic initiatives. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting tools, and supply chain processes will be essential in providing actionable insights that improve overall supply chain performance and contribute to the achievement of business goals.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports to support business intelligence and data analysis needs.
- Perform data analysis, investigation, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and resolve inconsistencies across different systems and file formats.
- Conduct data comparisons, reconciliation, and cleanup to enhance data quality and integrity.
- Generate exception reports to highlight data discrepancies, anomalies, or process inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement automated data alerts and notifications via Microsoft Teams and email for proactive monitoring.
- Gather and document business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
- Work with structured and unstructured data from various sources, ensuring seamless data integration and transformation.
- Prepare technical and user documentation for reports, dashboards, and data processing workflows.
- Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on report functionalities, data interpretation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Provide support under tight deadlines, handling multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Foster innovative and outside-the-box thinking to optimize reporting processes and improve data-driven decision-making.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 3-5 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Power BI, SSRS, and other business intelligence tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Strong knowledge of SQL (SQL Server and/or Oracle) for writing queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
- Experience with data integration, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in DAX and M Query for Power BI development.
- Familiarity with PowerShell and VBA for automation and data manipulation.
- Understanding of database structures, indexing, and query optimization.
Analytical and Problem-Solving:
- Strong ability to analyze data patterns, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Experience in handling large datasets and ensuring data accuracy across multiple systems.
- Ability to develop exception-based reports and automate alerts for anomaly detection.

- Strong oral and written communication skills for effective reporting and documentation.
