Job Summary:
In this role, you will act as a team advisor and program expert in the coordination of the construction workface effectiveness (CWE) team. You will own and develop programs that address the development needs of project field leaders and that mitigate constraints to workface improvement. You will analyze metrics and feedback and recommend improvements and initiatives to support alignment with business strategy and ensure program objectives are met.

Major Responsibilities:
Corporate Specialist / Operations Specialist
- Coordinates scheduling, communication, and administrative support for CWE
- Promotes and manages quality assurance testing on all training materials created
- Integrates modifications to learning design to accommodate regional training needs
- Utilizes multiple facilitation methods to engage course participants
Operations Specialist
- Serves as Workface Resource assigned to specific project area, responsible for facilitating all CWE tools related to the identification and mitigation of workface constraints (i.e., site productivity engagement cycle; High-Performance Leaders (HPL) tailored behavior / leadership development; Process Improvement; Coaching) as defined in the project Construction Workface Effectiveness Execution Plan for assigned area in accordance with the requirements of this procedure
- Reviews necessary interface points with Site, Area and Frontline Management / Leadership and responsible parties for report outs and mitigation strategies
- Responsible for driving at least one CWE Operations program
Corporate Specialist
- Develops highly engaging and interactive learning and instructor led courses through all stages of the learning design process including conducting needs analysis, performing research, conducting pilots and train the trainer sessions as needed
- Supports key stake holders across the enterprise to gain an understanding of their needs and translate business requirements and objectives to learning and development items
- Deploys learning programs including the appropriate delivery method based on business need, audience analysis and technology constraints
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Proven AWP Methodology Expertise
- Familiarity with the full lifecycle of AWP (Engineering Work Packages, Construction Work Packages, Installation Work Packages), including best practices for developing, implementing, and maintaining them.
Practical Construction & Field Experience
- Hands-on background in construction or field engineering, with insight into how design, procurement, and field execution interrelate on large or complex industrial/data center projects.
Integrated Schedule & Planning Skills
- Ability to create short-term and long-term schedules, identifying detailed work tasks, resource requirements, and logical sequencing.
- Skilled in setting priorities, aligning IWPs with overall project milestones, and adjusting plans in response to real-time project changes.
Technical & Software Proficiency
- Experience with project management or construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and data-centric tools used in AWP.
- Capable of analyzing quantitative data (e.g., cost, progress, productivity metrics) to inform decision-making.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication
- Strong ability to liaise with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams to gather input for work package creation.
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication for documenting IWP requirements and ensuring alignment among all project stakeholders.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability
- Aptitude for diagnosing issues that impact schedule, workforce utilization, or material availability, and proposing viable solutions promptly.
- Comfortable pivoting and re-planning work packages when project conditions or priorities shift.
Safety & Quality Focus
- Commitment to incorporating safety guidelines and quality standards into all work package plans; familiar with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience ensuring that site personnel have clear instructions, risk assessments, and hold points integrated within their IWPs.
Collaboration & Team Leadership
- Proven track record of working with multi-disciplinary teams, potentially taking on a leadership role to guide less experienced planners or construction personnel.
- History of building consensus and proactively resolving conflicts to keep work packages on track.
