Project Overview:

Bechtel’s Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) is an exciting and growing business unit that serves customers in the semiconductor, electric vehicle, and datacenter markets. M&T strives to exceed our customer objectives through utilizing our agility, innovative technologies, and world class talent. M&T solves the industry's toughest challenges, building both our company and the world for the future. Our team is building on Bechtel's legacy with a prospective semiconductor project. 

Job Summary:

In this role, you will manage a project’s supply chain operations and its assigned Supply Chain personnel to establish and implement the procurement and subcontract planning, acquisition, order administration, and delivery of goods and/or services. Your team will execute the project Supply Chain plan, ensuring the monitoring of safety, quality, cost, and performance and that all contractual duties and obligations are met by all parties to each purchase order and subcontract. #LI-AM3

Major Responsibilities:

• Participates with the project team on a large sized project in defining and developing the scope of work, and in preparing and coordinating Supply Chain plans, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets or manages project Supply Chain (procurement and/or subcontracts) functional personnel in all operations for a small to medium sized project 
• Identifies opportunities for revenue enhancement, schedule relief and claim avoidance and takes appropriate actions to protect Bechtel's interest and/or improve performance 
• Ensures the monitoring of safety, quality, cost, and performance and that all contractual duties and obligations are met by all parties to each purchase order and subcontract 

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work with senior Bechtel, Client and Supply Chain teams.
• Knowledge of how to develop and implement Supply Chain staffing plans and provide training and technical guidance.
• Ability to lead the definition of commercial strategy including packaging, formation, administration and closeout. 
• Knowledge of the latest market and industry patterns and ability to apply them to Bechtel's supply chain activities.
• Ability to manage staff and budget to business objectives and performance parameters.
• High level of experience in developing contract types, fee arrangements and contract terms.
• High level of experience in developing and recommending potential solutions to contractual problems to management and negotiating the same
• Must be willing to relocate domestically within the USA.
