Job Summary:

In this role, you will support overall estimate generation and consolidation following standard processes and procedures. You will assist in the preparation of cost studies, trend estimates, and life cycle cost estimates. Your work ensures accurate project cost estimations and will be essential in driving project profitability and excellence in a competitive market. 

 

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-AM3

 

Major Responsibilities:

Services 

  • Conducts detail pricing for non-manual labor service using functional staffing and other direct cost (ODC) inputs. 
  • Gathers appropriate quantity and labor/ODC information for an assigned discipline or specialty. 
  • Coordinates proposed staffing plans with function leads

Overall 

  • Prepares estimate basis and assumption documentation for their area of responsibility in support of overall estimate development 
  • Prepares cost studies, trend estimates, and life cycle cost estimates in area of specialization 
  • Establishes format and content of summaries and reconciliations, including segregation of cost according to level of confidence in area of responsibility in accordance with standard and project specific procedures and instructions 

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Established competence in Microsoft Excel including complex formula creation and audit.
  • Confident and comfortable presenting to senior management as part of proposal reviews.
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate across various functions and proposals.
  • Proven capability in arithmetic and Microsoft Excel.
  • Personable and flexible teammate with a willingness to support new tasks as needed.
  • Skilled and experienced in database management including import and export of data.
  • Comfortable managing complex Microsoft Excel workbooks.
