This position is contingent on project award and will support a U.S. Navy program to provide Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) technical support in the areas of On-site Assessment, Analysis and Characterization, Exercise and Contingency Support, Tools and Data Management, and Situational Awareness.

 

The analysis efforts shall range from focusing on a single asset to an analysis of an infrastructure network. The predominant focus will be on Telecommunications, Energy Security, and control systems analysis. The program will entail providing technical support services for systems engineering and program analysis. the general Work Areas of: Systems Engineering, Mission Analysis, Intellectual Outreach & Technical Review, and Configuration Management.

 

The assignment allows for telework with travel to US Naval sites as required. For base access, U.S. Citizenship is required, and all candidates will preferably have an active or Interim Secret clearance. We may be able to sponsor clearances for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Eight (8) years of experience with communications including experience in at least three of the following areas:
  • Analysis of commercial or military communications assets and networks
  • Engineering and design of communications components and networks including fiber, cable, or wireless systems
  • Modeling of transport and network systems
  • Use of Geospatial Information System (GIS) software in analysis efforts
