Job Knowledge: Co-ordination with Bechtel Home Office (CSA team) for any interface queries and its timely resolution Assists in the development of basic layout drawings for civil/structural data or other purposes to be used in working drawings Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, or constructability. Understanding of Engineering Department Procedures, relevant Bechtel design guides. Broad knowledge of the application of engineering to plant constructability as applied to construction methods and materials and Codes including of OSHA Understanding of engineering planning and control methods including computerized methods Experience of preparing general arrangement and reinforcement detail drawings of concrete Experience of preparing general arrangement and detail drawings of steel Civil - Designer with 15+ years of experience in Engineering Design office of repute Proficient in use of SP3D to prepare design and construction drawings. Draw clear, complete, and accurate detail drawings based on design inputs, sketches, field notes, and verbal communication The designer must interpret and implement technical direction received from engineers, technologists or other supervisors and work independently to develop clear and concise drawings that will be checked by an engineer prior to being completed and issued. Experience in leading a team of designers in EPC and/or big FEED projects. Capable of planning, assigning, guiding and monitoring work of the team members Capable of assuring quality of the drawings and other associated deliverables Prepare material take-offs and preparation of material lists. Knowledgeable and capable of working in excel, word and other material take-off software.

Basic Requirements (Candidates must meet all basic qualifications to be considered) Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting and Design Technology certificate from ITI/CTI. Minimum fifteen years of work experience in Design office of an EPC company. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements Knowledge in other software like Microstation, AutoCAD, Tekla, Frameworks Willingness to accept field assignment on projects anywhere in the world. Knowledge and experience of preparing General Civil engineering drawings of earthworks (rough and finished grading), drainage etc. Experience of using software like InRoads, OpenRoads, Civil3D etc. Prior experience of working on Energy projects, such as LNGs, Refineries etc.
