Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer (DCCO) will play a critical leadership role in ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of ethical conduct within the organization. The DCCO will oversee the Corporate Compliance Committee, ensuring alignment with the risk framework, and focusing on continuous improvement. This position will collaborate closely with members of the Committee.
Major Responsibilities:
- The DCCO manages concerns to resolution for Corporate.
- The DCCO will take part in business unit case reviews and is responsible to action assigned items.
- Analyzes and advises on policies, plans, and procedures for the continuous improvement and the effectiveness of the Ethics and Compliance program.
- Serves on the BGI's Compliance Committee and provides input to oversight and review of the auditing, training and compliance activities in the company's significant compliance risk areas.
- Analyzes and advises on policies, plans, and procedures for the continuous improvement and the effectiveness of the Ethics and Compliance program.
- The DCCO participates in Internal Audits of the Ethics & Compliance program and engages them to remediate policies deficiencies identified.
- The DCCO will conduct compliance training as needed. Aid in developing strategy and the Ethics Workshop training.
- Leads Team Meetings.
- Effective to work with and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Passport, to travel as needed to Bechtel locations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 18+ years of relevant experience or 22+ years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Critical Thinking
- Experience/Understanding of enterprise compliance program.
- Strong analytical ability
- Effective people skills
