Project Overview:
Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) is an exciting and growing business that serves the increasing demand of EPC services for customers in the semiconductor (manufacturing facilities and supply chain); electric vehicle (batteries, charging infrastructure, and production); synthetic materials; and data center markets.M&T strives to exceed our customer objectives through utilizing our agility, innovative technologies, and world class talent. Job Summary:
In this role, you will compile and analyze financial information to prepare General Ledger transactions, statutory financial statements/reports, and tax compliance schedules/reports. You will reconcile general ledger balances and examine recording and reporting documents. You will support in identifying process improvement opportunities and developing new solutions and process documentation. You will scrutinize, initiate, and complete corrective actions to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Supervise a team of Timekeepers in performing project timekeeping and union craft payroll activities, including, but not limited to: Union Craft Professional onboarding, data entry and maintenance of employee information in project timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Project badging for all site personnel (including replacement badging, timeclock troubleshooting and maintenance, and gate watch).
- Creation and distribution of daily/weekly reporting such as force report, attendance reports, etc.
- Daily/weekly timesheet reconciliation
- Coordination of timekeeping interface with craft payroll processing team (BBS)
- Training and mentoring of Project Timekeepers. Scheduling of overtime, shift coverage, etc.
- Close coordination with Labor Relations, Construction Supervision and Union Stewards.
- Ensure that project timekeeping and craft payroll activities are performed in accordance with company policy and union labor agreements.
- Provide payroll-related customer service to Craft Professionals.
- Any other related activities as assigned by the Project Finance and Accounting Manager.
Major Responsibilities:

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends/holidays.
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service background.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently to identify and resolve routine problems.
