  • Salary Range: $73,968 - $88,764 annually (Determined by function, education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant. A 15% salary uplift is provided on top of base salary for positions that are worked in New York City or San Francisco, which is subject to change depending on market conditions.).

Job Summary:

The various Environmental Engineering tasks demand detail-oriented individuals with multifaceted skills, particularly in-depth technical expertise, flexibility, enthusiasm for individual and team tasks, and analytical problem-solving.

 As an Environmental Engineer, you will work in multidisciplinary teams and provide expertise in water and wastewater systems, air emissions, environmental impact assessments, and environmental regulatory requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

Typical Activities of the Environmental Engineering Team

  • Writing specifications
  • Developing processing schemes
  • Performing equipment sizing calculations
  • Performing analysis and conceptual study-level reports
  • Estimating air emissions
  • Performing air dispersion modeling
  • Assisting with Environmental Impact Assessments and client permitting applications

Education and Experience Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university within twelve (12) months of graduation date or anticipate obtaining in the next 12 months
  • Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites
  • Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university within twelve (12) months of graduation date or anticipate obtaining in the next 12 months
  • Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA
  • Prior co-op or internship experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
