Overview

The successful candidate will perform a variety of Workforce Services support activities.  The Workforce Services team works proactively with Project Management and Labor Organizations to create an environment that will ensure timely and cost-effective completion of our projects.  The total number of hires and start dates are subject to workload and business conditions.  Locations are Houston, TX or Reston, VA (part-time teleworking).

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working with project to update and publish regional Procedures
  • Develops internal labor studies, including in county research (online) and through third parties
  • Supports projects and prospects with collecting wage and fringe information and creating regional labor rates.
  • Develops labor surveys for projects and prospects that include supply and demand data and competing project information.
  • Establishes a central database to include country/region specific wages (including escalation), labor supply, and demand.
  • Develops risk and mitigation strategies to support project proposals.
  • Responsible for writing project executionplans using critical information gathered during the initial analysis.
  • Creates an internal SharePoint/internal webpage to share information within the WS Management team to include procedures, lessons learned, etc.
  • Supports requests from Business Development to obtain critical data or develop presentations to assist in proposals.
  • Attends meetings and participates in discussions of anticipated or immediate labor issues.  Provides written accounts of labor issues and events as requested.
  • Build relationships with internal customers and project contacts.
  • Perform other special projects as requested.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Global Business Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, Social Studies, or related degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Comfortable working in either an office or field environment.

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
