Bechtel renewables team will perform the engineering, procurement and construction for a 200 megawatt (“MW”) utility-scale photovoltaic (“PV”) generating plant to be located in Jackson County, Texas. Position is based on award.  


Role Overview

Performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities, as directed. 


Position Duties / Responsibilities:

Responsible for assigned scheduling functions. Direct interface with management, and field teams as necessary for cost and schedule control monitoring, analysis and reporting Provides day-to-day support to project team, and detailed monitoring and analysis of project budgets, schedules and actuals. Interfaces with other members of the project team, customers and others Updates and maintains the project schedule data base information Provides support to project financial reporting and trending functions and the invoice/billing review process as required Provides support to PC Supervisor as requested Supervises other project controls engineers for specific focus areas Independently provides financial, cost reporting, trending analysis and recommends corrective actions Responsible for analysis, development and presentation of impact integration measures  


Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management or business management .

Must be able to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.


Preferred Qualifications

Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license

Experience in other areas of project controls (planning, scheduling, estimating, etc.) desirable
