Position Summary

The position is primarily responsible for managing employee relations activities within the Europe Region, but will also assist with the delivery of compliance programmes and D&I initiatives. 


Typical Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of employee relations support within the Region – undertake workplace investigations and provide advice and guidance to managers, employees, and HR colleagues on the appropriate steps to take.
  • Develop and maintain the appropriate policies, procedures, and templates to support the delivery of employee relations services and provide guidance and coaching to regional personnel in their use.
  • Ensure that confidential notes are correctly retained in all cases.
  • Liaise with internal and external counsel as appropriate to assess risk and ensure that processes and procedures are legally compliant.
  • Provide employee relations input to the development or review of all people related policies.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of diversity & inclusion activities, including championing diversity & inclusion within the region
  • Assist in the development and delivery of specific HR projects, as and when required.
  • Assist the Regional HR Manager with other activities as required.


Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Significant experience of successfully leading investigations across a range of different employee relations cases
  • Good experience of developing the policies, processes, procedures and templates to support employee relations services.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and compliance requirements
  • Good working experience of other HR disciplines, in particular D&I and policy development
  • Experience writing both high-level and detailed communications to regionally deployed staff
  • Proven ability to work across HR disciplines to drive business outcomes within the region


Additional Skills & Requirements

  • Strong delivery focus and proven ability to exercise individual initiative and judgment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, whilst managing changing priorities & deadlines with multiple stakeholders
  • Detail oriented, organized, flexible and able to work across multiple work fronts is essential
  • Proven experience managing numerous Human Resources processes
  • Intermediate skill in MS office suite producing business-level reports, presentations, and recommendations
