Role Overview

The position is for a key member of the Infrastructure GBU’s Management Information team, which has responsibility for internal and external reporting of GBU information.

 

Key responsibilities

As part of the MI team or individually:

  • Timely submission to corporate MI of the quarterly forecast including NWB, workoff, managed overhead, backlog and working capital and cash- this will include review and analysis of GBU PFSRs, working with projects to understand key risks and opportunities, presenting financial information to senior managers within the GBU and ensuring that the forecasts submitted are consistent with Bechtel policies and procedures
  • Providing analysis and support to the Infrastructure CFO
  • Monitoring of the GBU working capital, cashflow and hedge programme and working with corporate treasury and projects to ensure GBU cashflows are hedged
  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting of GBU financial data and ensuring that data presented is consistent with corporate reporting
  • Ad-hoc analysis of financial data as required including detailed analytics and “what if” analysis and reconciliation of data to the GBU strategy

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Good working knowledge MS Excel
  • Ability to work with colleagues across all levels of the organization
  • Highly numerate with the ability to analyse information and prepare reports
