Project Overview:

Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. This shift to clean energy—and the need for commodities—is critical to underpinning the energy transition. At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net zero in a way which is more sustainable than ever before.  

Job Summary:

The Professional Internship program offers an overview and training in Accounting and Finance.

The extension of the program is 6 months, starting in May 2026.

Major Responsibilities:

• Collecting, organizing and digitizing accounting and tax documentation required by SUNAT (electronic books, vouchers, monthly and annual declarations, among others), within the framework of auditing and auditing processes.
• Verifying the consistency between the accounting records and the tax reports presented. 
• Supporting in the review of monthly tax obligations (VAT, Rent, Withholdings, among others).
• Preparing reports of electronic invoices issued by suppliers, which are pending compliance with SUNAT and registration with Oracle.
• Validating that the accounting transactions are correctly registered according to the EGCP and the current SUNAT standards. 
• Participating in the reconciliation of accounts such as tax, accounts payable, fixed assets, among others. 
• Registering accounting entries in the Oracle system.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Graduated from the Accounting, Finance, Administration or Economics majors from an accredited university. 
• Be in the condition of a graduate of the university and reside in Lima.
• Availability to carry out the professional internship of at least 6 months. 
• Knowledge of Peruvian tax regulations.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• To be responsible and have good communication.
• Collaboration, ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Desirable level of intermediate English, not excluding.
• Ms Office intermediate-advanced.
• Intermediate-advanced Power BI.
