Project Overview:
Driftwood LNG LLC is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.
Job Summary:
In this role, the Automation Specialist will be responsible for the updating and maintenance of the project automation tools, including TEAMWorks, Setroute, Completions Module and EQMS and assist with development, testing, deployment, maintenance and support of construction-sponsored software applications, tools, and automated work processes.

Major Responsibilities:
- Provide Construction Automation (CA) support including all modules of TEAMWorks, EQMS, CM and PTR, including coordinating with other functional software (i.e. 3D/4D/ Model, PowerBI, Microsoft report builder, Powerapps and BIM)
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure Project automation plans comply with BSAP standards
- Provide user training for TEAMWorks and other Construction applications
- Documentation and understand all integration points with external systems
- Work with the Implementation Team to create an implementation plan
- Prepare test plans, migration plans and new release forms for new versions of Construction BSAPS before they are released for use
- Project based, to support Construction BSAPS and users at site
- Perform other CA-related tasks as assigned by the Project Field Engineer
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Recognized degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information System or related field, or
- Specialized courses in application support, or
- Practical work experience in information systems or other relevant experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- All applicants must have a good working knowledge of Construction BSAPS and how they are used by Construction
- Applicant must be willing to mobilize to the project site
- Familiarity with Bechtel Construction SWPPS and procedures
- Basic knowledge of hardware and operating systems, including system architecture, network infrastructures and client-server principles
- Basic knowledge of how to troubleshoot and support software applications
- Critical thinking: ability to track down complex data and engineering issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to solve problems
- Creativity: you can conceive of new data driven products, features, and technologies
- Results: you prioritize, focusing on ideas and features that will have significant, measurable impact
- Planning & estimation: ability to set and meet your own project objectives & milestones
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Advanced skills in a scripting language such as Python
- Ability to work independently, with strong communication and writing skills
