Project Overview:

The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy LNG projects. Louisiana LNG is an approximately 27.6 mtpa liquefaction export facility. The first phase will include two LNG plants with an export capacity of up to 11 million tons per annum (mtpa). The work location is Lake Charles, LA.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide project field engineering support with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and coordination of system turnover. Your work will contribute to ensuring field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. #LI-KL1

Major Responsibilities:

Work Planning & Packaging 

• Prepares construction drawings and sketches. 
• Interfaces in planning construction methods and procedures.   

Material Management  

• Initiates requisitions for field purchases 
• Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. 

Quantities 

• Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.  

Safety / Quality Control 

• Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. 

Technical  

• Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities 

System Turnover Coordinator  

For Direct Hire

• Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development. 

STR / Subcontract Coordinator 

• Reviews and approves inspection test plans 
• Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals  

Education and Experience Requirements:

•  Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Provides technical and site support for large-scale earthmoving, excavation, and grading projects, ensuring work aligns with design plans, quality standards, and safety regulations, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring compaction/soil stability, verifying cut/fill, and producing daily progress reports to manage project foundations effectively
• Interpret civil designs, provide technical guidance, and ensure work meets specifications for drainage, roads, and structures
• Coordinate compaction/soil density tests, monitor site safety (HSE), manage permits, and ensure adherence to airside/site rules.
• Support survey teams for layout, manage material quantities, oversee subcontractor activities, and prepare work plans.
• Liaise with consultants, other trades (pavement, utilities), and management; prepare daily reports, inspection logs, and handover documentation.
